“Why did you take your VHS Learning course and what did you learn from the experience?"
Send your answer in a video, or narrated slide presentation, for a chance to earn up to $1000 for next year. The winners' submissions will earn a prize and top billing on our webpage!

The Fine Print
The 2024 Scholarship Program is closed. Winners will be notified in Mid-May.
Three levels of scholarships are available:
One (1) $1000 | Two (2) $500 | Two (2) $250
Submissions Details
There are two format options available to submit your entry:
Video
We’ve had video entries that have wowed! We’ve seen students turn into actors, actors turn into students and answers to our scholarship questions come alive on screen. Just keep it relevant, insightful and under three minutes.
Multimedia Presentations
With crafty transitions and some awesome sound bites, we could be compelled to present you with this year’s top honors. You’ll want to count your slides, because once we press “play slideshow” your presentation should run no more than three minutes long.
Content Details

Make it Official
Before you show us what you’ve got; show us that you’ve read the official entry rules by complying with the information below:
All submissions must include:
- Signed and completed copy of the Application Form (PDF).
- Signed and completed copy of the Media Release Form (PDF).
- Your submission copied to a CD, DVD, or upload and send your digital files via DropBox or Google Drive to info@vhslearning.org.
Acceptable file formats and copyrights:
- Videos should be in Quicktime (.mov), Windows Media (.wmv), or DVD format
- Please be sure that all digital documents are public.
- All content including pictures and audio must be original work or comply with copyright laws.
For your entry to be considered, make sure you:
- Will be graduating in 2024 and plan to attend a post-secondary program
- Must have completed a VHS Learning course or be enrolled in one currently
Mail your submissions, postmarked no later than April 30, 2024, to:
