Dr. Barbara Morse

Vice Chairman of the Board. Retired Principal, North Kingston Sr. High School

Dr. Morse is a long-time public-school educator with more than 25 years of experience at North Kingston Sr. High School, in North Kingston, Rhode Island. Since 2019 she has held the role of School Principal. Dr. Morse was formerly Department Chair, Mathematics, for more than 21 years, and from 2014 to 2019 she held the role of Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning at the school. She holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D), Educational Leadership from Johnson and Wales University, and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education/Mathematics from the University of Rhode Island. Since her retirement in 2023, she has worked for ESS (K-12 Education Personnel Management & Solution) to provide as needed administrative support to the North Kingstown School District, serving as a substitute Principal or Assistant Principal for K-12. Since Jan 2024, she has been an adjunct professor at Johnson & Wales University College of Arts and Sciences (Providence) in the M.Ed. program and since Sept 2024, she has served as a University Supervisor in their MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) program.
